So, I was thinking of character concepts and possible back stories and was wondering what kind of ideas people had come up with. Now I know we only have a rules teaser so far, but I think I can present at least a concept. Here goes:
Tyler Rankin (Drfter/Investigator)
He was what they called a Headhunter. Not some crazy cannibal thing (they have more morals) but one of those guys who makes it his business to find the right people for the right job and put them together. He plied his trade up and down the Northeast Tech corridor. He couldn't put together a circuit board or draw a blueprint if his life depended on it, but he knew all the companies who needed someone who could and specialized in finding those people for them.
Then the whole world went to complete and utter shit.
Since the apocalypse he's spent his time doing pretty much the same thing. He takes his knowledge of those tech companies and the products they developed, and finds the high tech items that everybody still wants. He then keeps what he wants and sells the rest to the highest bidder. In addition he still knows how to match people to jobs. Youy need a fixer to set you up with the right kind of person, find Tyler. He might just be able to set you up.
But remember, even before the whole world went south, he knew it was a dog eat dog world. Now the dogs are just a little more radioactive. And nobody cares if another body turns up dead.
(btw any pcs think they want to work with this scumbag, he needs people to protect him and to make sure the stuff he finds works. Could be the great basis for a team, hint, hint)
