So we have ideas for armor and things, I know my mad max sites have given people more insight of stuff. And some have given blips of what they would like. So I am writing a list of my stuff so it might inspire others.
Head gear: DOT motor cross helmet with a welding mask attached to the front. Plus a few other things not yet known.
Body Gear: Ratty old motorcycle coat w/football pads attached, legs w/ hocky shin guards, skate board elbow pads and differnt typs of gloves for the hands. (so far more to come)
Offensive/Deffensive: Shot Gun, Battle Axe (made from a car radiator fan and metal pole) Shield is a cover for an electric fry pan.

I remember something I saw at a fantasy LARP once that made for a decent make do brigandine rep. But it would work perfectly as what it was in a post apoc setting. The player had taken a leather vest and attached electrical wall plates on each side of the vest. It was fairly light but still could take a solid hit fairly well. I'll tell you if the apocalypse really does come and I survive it, that's one of the first things I'm making (assuming I can't get my hands on military grade body armor, of course)

What can I say I love Apoc stuff, this kinda game brings out my creative side. The only thing that will take a while will be the football & other pads have to wait till I can get the cash for them. Next project is my boffer fan-blade battle axe.
I take it that all pvc poles will still need to be padded with foam like normal pole arms.
